Hi Owen, glad you enjoyed the online edition of Communicate magazine. We carry those @loggerheads debates in every issue, and we're looking at taking them out on the road later this year.
But as far as the @loggerheads debate you've just read, can I ask how it is in the US? I get the feeling that it's almost impossible to get anywhere in the US without at least one degree. Learning on the job, and maybe supplementing experience with a couple of courses is an increasingly diminishing option in the UK, but it's still possible. Wheras I get the feeling that just isn't an option over there.
